Is this sunscreen oil reef safe?

Our Watermelon Sunscreen Oil SPF50 does not contain Oxybenzone or Octinoxate. This means it is considered ‘Hawaii Reef Bill Safe.’

Does the Shimmering Tanning Gel offer SPF protection?

Our Shimmering Tanning Gel does offer SPF15, UVB & UVA broad spectrum protection.

Does the Shimmering Tanning Gel have fake tan in it?

No. Although our Shimmering Tanning Gel has bronze tint within the formula, it does not contain any DHA. During the cooler months, we recommend using our self tan range for an instant fake tan.

Does sunscreen oil help you tan?

While our Watermelon Sunscreen Oil provides the highest level of SPF +50 protection, the formulation will allow you to achieve a golden glow when outdoors for long periods. We always recommend being sun-safe, avoiding the sun during the peak of the day and wearing a hat, sunglasses and protective clothing.

Is this Shimmering Tanning Gel water-resistant?

No, this formula isn’t water resistant. We always recommend re-applying after excessive swimming, towelling or sweating. If you require extra protection, use in conjunction with water resistant sunscreen.
