What are the key ingredients?

Niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E work to boost hydration and support skin health. Niacinamide keeps skin hydrated and smooth to achieve the perfect base. Vitamin E promotes skin cell renewal for smoother skin & even tan. Shea and cocoa butter are rich in antioxidants to moisturise, soothe & aid in skin barrier repair.

Can I use the Gradual Tan Butter in conjunction with other Bali Body products?

Yes, this product is great to use in conjunction with our Self Tan range to assist in extending the life of your tan and increase hydration. You can also layer with our Body Whip or Body Highlight to really elevate your tan!

How quickly will I see results?

You will see initial results within 4-6 hours. Darkest results seen after 2-3 applications.

Do I need to wash my hands after I apply?

Absolutely. As this is a self tanning product, you will need to thoroughly wash your hands after each application. Pay close attention to your wrists and in between your fingers.

Is this a gradual tanning product?

Yes, it is. The results from 1 application will give you medium to dark results, depending on your natural skin tone. To increase the deepness of your tan, we recommend continued use. Apply to clean skin after each shower. Best results are seen after 4 applications.

What is the texture of this product?

This body lotion has a rich, butter-like texture that is ultra-hydrating and creamy.

Can I use this as a tan extender?

Yes, you can! Apply daily after a shower to increase the longevity of your natural or fake tan to intensely hydrate the skin. A hydrated skin barrier will help preserve the colour of your tan, extending its life for up to 7 days.

Should I exfoliate before using the Gradual Tanning Butter?

Yes, it’s always best to exfoliate before applying self-tan, as this will allow the hydrating skincare ingredients to soak into your skin better, meaning your tan will be more even and longer lasting. Plus, the added hydration from the Gradual Tanning Butter means that exfoliated skin will be even more hydrated and buttery-soft.
