I recently tried the Ultra Dark Self Tanning Mousse, and overall I think it’s a nice product with a good, skin-safe formula. It applies smoothly and the result can look quite natural.
That said, I was expecting a deeper, darker result, especially after previously using the Deep Violet shade. On my skin, the “Ultra Dark” didn’t develop as intensely as I had hoped. I’ve also noticed that the result can vary depending on skin type, on some it develops better, while on others it remains lighter. In my case, I needed to apply it at least 3 times to build up the depth of color I was aiming for.
The undertone is also something to mention. Compared to the Deep Violet, this one came out slightly less greenish, which I appreciated, but still not as deep as expected.
One small point for improvement would be the packaging. I’ve experienced some leaking around the bottle opening when shaking the product before use, which can get a bit messy. Improving the bottle seal or design would really enhance the overall experience.
Overall, it’s a good product with nice results, but with a few small improvements, especially in color depth and packaging, it could be even better.
