What is Self Tanning Mousse?

Self Tanning Mousse is a self-tanner that has a foamy, mousse formula. It is also commonly referred to as fake tan. The product is applied topically all over the body and face to achieve a temporarily darker skin tone.

How many applications will I get from one bottle of Self Tanning Mousse?

One bottle of the Bali Body Self Tanning Mousse will provide approximately 6-8 full body coats. The mousse is a quick drying fake tan that you can sleep in if preferred. We recommend leaving the fake tan on the skin anywhere between 1-8 hours depending on your desired colour.

How long will a bottle of Bali Body Self Tanning Mousse last on my skin?

The Bali Body Self Tan will last approximately 5-7 days when used in conjunction with daily application of a moisturising lotion. Moisturising before fake tan in all dry areas (hands, elbows, knees and feet) and moisturising after fake tan will ensure you get your best, long-lasting self tan.

Is tanning lotion or mousse better?

The consistency of a Self Tanning Mousse makes it much easier to apply than a tanning lotion as it can be massaged into the skin quickly and easily. Using a mousse is also less likely to result in streaks on the skin as opposed to using a tanning lotion.

Can you use self tanner on your face and if so, for how long?

While the Bali Body Self Tanner is full of nourishing oils making it extremely gentle to apply to the face we recommend using our Face Tan Mist for best results. The Bali Body Face Tan Mist is a skincare and self tanning product that has been specifically formulated to give your face and neck a sun-kissed complexion. The Face Tan Mist can be left on the face for 4-6 hours depending on your shade preference.

Can you sleep with self tanner on?

The Bali Body Self Tan is perfectly safe to be left on overnight. It is a quick drying mousse that you can sleep in if preferred. We recommend leaving the fake tan on the skin anywhere between 1-8 hours depending on your desired colour.

    Wow!!!

    I have been paying $52 a month for a spray tan membership and I wish I knew about this before. Great results which for the first use, I felt like it looked as good as my spray tan and as it developed I was stunned with how awesome it looked. The question is how long does it last and if it lasts 7 days then no more spray tans for me I can just "put the lotion on!" I didn't have the mitt so I used generic brand tanning mitt from a local store but I'm sure a BB mitt that they recommend helps the mouse go one even better and last longer, so I'm going to look into purchasing one, unless you want to mail me one - much love to you BaliBody for this great product.

    It’s a fifa summer!

    This completely enhances my natural colour and makes me look the way I’m supposed to. Since I don’t get much sun due to laser treatments, it gives me a healthy glow and really boosts my confidence once the tan develops. I’ve been using Bali Body for around 10 years now and I’m so impressed with how the formula has improved over the years. I also use the cocoa tanning oil—10/10! Highly recommend

    Woke up with a tan

    One week in and I’m genuinely impressed. The mousse texture is light and easy to work with — and the smell is surprisingly subtle compared to most self-tanners I’ve tried. No harsh biscuit scent, which was a dealbreaker for me with other brands.

    Applied with a mitt and a brush for more precise areas, and the result was completely streak-free. It develops fast, blends evenly, and gives a natural-looking depth rather than that obvious fake-tan finish.
