As if getting back into your routine isn't hard enough after two weeks of 10am sleep ins, sometimes a combination of the heat with a few too many cocktails can leave you feeling a little sluggish, weighed down and puffy.

We’ve all been there and it’s nothing that can't be fixed with some wholesome food, water and a few healthy lifestyle hacks. Here we have put together 5 simple ways to detox that don't require too much time away from the beach, just a little bit of planning and self-loving TLC.

Drink warm water with lemon

Stock up on some of the bright citrus fruits and begin your day with warm lemon water. Warm lemon water alkalizes your body, gets your metabolism moving and helps curve those sweet cravings throughout the day.

You’re probably a little dehydrated after your vacay so getting your daily water intake is essential to filter out any toxins and get your skin back to its best glowing self. If you’re not great at remembering to drink water, set an alarm on your phone to make sure you drink at least one big glass every hour. 

Focus on plant-based meals

You might be tempted to continue your daily intake of cheesy pasta but some plant-based meals will make you feel much better. Increasing your daily intake of fruits, veggies and plant-based proteins is the perfect way to increase energy and say goodbye to any sluggishness.
